We are pleased to announce the latest addition to our inspection and quality assurance capability with the introduction of the EVO Cam II Digital Microscope. This advanced inspection technology strengthens our ability to deliver high-precision manufacturing and maintain the highest standards expected by our customers across the automotive, industrial, and electro-mechanical sectors.

Cable Harnesses UK has completed the construction of a new dedicated office space for Operations and Purchasing, further strengthening coordination, visibility, and control across core business functions.

The new office has been designed to support closer collaboration between operational planning and procurement activities, enabling improved decision-making, clearer communication, and more effective management of materials, schedules, and supplier interactions.

Cable Harnesses UK has completed the installation of high-level racking within its facility, further enhancing storage capacity, material control, and operational efficiency.

The new racking system has been designed to maximise vertical space while maintaining safe access, clear segregation, and effective stock management. This investment supports improved organisation of raw materials, components, and work-in-progress, aligning storage capability with recent production and facility expansions.

Cable Harnesses UK is pleased to announce a further extension to its facilities, creating additional dedicated production space for the cutting department. This expansion supports increased capacity, improved workflow, and continued investment in controlled, high-quality cable preparation processes.

The new production area has been designed to accommodate increased cutting activity, support additional automated equipment, and improve material flow between stores, cutting, and downstream assembly operations.

Cable Harnesses UK is pleased to confirm the addition of a Z-240 wire cutting machine to its production capability, further strengthening capacity, accuracy, and process control within cable preparation operations.

The Z-240 cutting machine provides precise, repeatable wire cutting across a wide range of cable types and lengths, supporting both high-volume production and short-run flexibility. This investment complements existing automated equipment and enhances overall workflow efficiency.

Cable Harnesses UK is pleased to announce the introduction of the Schleuniger 36S crimping press with CR20 crimp force monitoring, further strengthening the company’s commitment to precision, quality assurance, and controlled manufacturing processes.

The Schleuniger 36S is a high-accuracy crimping platform, and when combined with the CR20 Crimp Force Monitoring (CFM) system, provides real-time verification of every crimp produced. This ensures consistent crimp quality and immediate detection of deviations from approved process parameters.

Cable Harnesses UK is pleased to announce the extension of its facilities to accommodate expanded stock stores and quality inspection areas, reinforcing the company’s continued investment in operational excellence and customer assurance.

The extension has been designed to improve material flow, traceability, and inspection capability, supporting both current demand and future growth. By increasing dedicated space for stock holding and inspection activities, Cable Harnesses UK is strengthening control over incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished assemblies.

Following the global COVID-19 pandemic, Cable Harnesses UK has now returned to full operational capability across all business functions. All temporary or emergency COVID-specific controls have been formally reviewed, and where no longer required, have been withdrawn in a controlled and documented manner.

During the pandemic period, Cable Harnesses UK implemented a range of protective, operational, and continuity measures in line with UK Government guidance, public health advice, and internal risk assessments. These actions ensured the safety of employees, continuity of supply to customers, and compliance with applicable legal, contractual, and quality requirements.
